What It Is
Debossing uses controlled heat and pressure to press type, a monogram, or a custom die into a compatible material. The result is an impression you can see and feel. Hot foil adds a colored or metallic foil between the heated type and the product, creating an impressed mark with additional contrast and shine. The process can be performed with a vintage Kingsley press, giving the station an old-world, mechanical quality that feels different from a digital production setup.
How Guests Participate
Guests choose initials, a short name, monogram, or approved design. Our operator sets the type or die, positions the product, and presses the mark while the guest watches. The deliberate setup and physical motion create a premium, hands-on reveal.

Technical Capability
Type, custom dies, foil, temperature, pressure, dwell time, product thickness, and fixture all affect the result. Foil adds additional variables and requires careful material testing. We recommend the simplest process that delivers the desired appearance reliably at the event’s volume.
Planning the Service
Planning includes exact-product testing, type and die preparation, foil selection, guest-choice limits, heat-safe placement, power, staging, staffing, and event-volume review. Custom logo dies require additional lead time. Hot foil is accepted selectively when the product, venue, schedule, and budget support the additional complexity.
